Why Is an Owl the Symbol for Masterwork360?
Masterwork brings your defining achievements to life.™
Look closely at the Masterwork360 Mastermind logo. Before you read a single word, an owl is already looking back at you.
Why an Owl?
A mastermind gathers accomplished people so each of them can see further than they could alone. That is what an owl does best. It takes in the whole scene, notices the detail others pass over, and chooses its moment.
In gold, with Masterwork360 written above its wings, the owl stands for guiding with wisdom and vision. It is the Mastermind’s promise in a single image.
What Would an Owl Bring to Your Next Decade?
It sees the decade ahead while others squint at the quarter.
It spots the opportunity in the shadows, and brings it into the light.
When the wind shifts, it adjusts its wings and keeps its course.
One well-chosen move outweighs a dozen hurried ones.
What’s the Owl’s Name?
A mascot deserves a name. This one is Aero, from the Greek word for air. Picture lift under the wings, a steady line through the night sky, the pull of forward motion. Sherrie Rose chose the name for exactly that: the ability to rise and advance.
Spread your wings.
Where Does the Owl Appear?
Once you start looking, the owl turns up in more than one place: in gold on the Masterwork360 Mastermind logo, and in three colors in Wisdom in Motion.
Three owls, one idea: wisdom in motion.
Look at the tail feathers on the fuller gold owl. They follow the Eurasian eagle-owl, one of the largest owls on earth, with wings that can stretch past six feet.
Why Do We Draw Wisdom as an Owl?
Ask a child to draw wisdom and you may well get an owl, perhaps in spectacles, perhaps on a stack of books. The idea is old. In ancient Athens the owl perched beside Athena, goddess of wisdom, and was stamped on the city’s silver coins. Wisdom you could keep in your pocket.
An owl sees what others miss when the light fades. It watches, listens, and moves only when it is sure. And it can turn its head about 270 degrees, nearly the full circle. Close enough to 360 to make us smile.
How Do the Seal and the Logo (Owl) Differ?
Masterwork360 has a seal and a logo. The owl lives in the logo.
